🍀 Shamrock 4 Miler Returns to Blacksburg
Runners and families will gather in Blacksburg, Virginia for the 8th annual Shamrock 4 Miler on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The race begins at 9:00 AM at Blacksburg High School (3401 Bruin Lane, Blacksburg, VA) and is part of the popular RunAbout Race Series, a local running circuit that kicks off the spring racing season.
The event features a 4-mile road race that follows a scenic loop through nearby roads and bike paths, welcoming runners of all skill levels. After the main race, kids can join the Lucky Leprechaun 1K Dash at 10:30 AM, a free fun run on the high school’s cross-country course.
Beyond the race itself, the Shamrock 4 Miler celebrates community and fitness. Participants receive finisher medals, and a portion of proceeds helps support the Blacksburg High School track and cross-country teams.
