It’s that time of year again—pumpkins, costumes, and candy galore! The Town of Christiansburg invites you and your family to lace up your running shoes and join in for one of their favorite fall traditions:

Held at the Christiansburg Recreation Center, this annual event is packed with fun for all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a trick-or-treater, or just here for the pancakes (no judgment), there’s something for everyone!

👻 Kid’s Fun Run (Ages 10 & under)
📍Starts at 8:45 a.m. | 💸 FREE!
Let the little ghouls and goblins kick off the morning with a quick and festive dash! Pre-registration is required.
👟 5K Run/Walk (Ages 9 & up)
📍Immediately after the Fun Run | 💸 $30
Whether you’re walking, jogging, or sprinting in costume, the 5K is a spooky-good time! Race-day registration is available—just come early!
🚛 Truck-or-Treat
📍 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. | 💸 FREE!
Kids can explore an awesome lineup of trucks and collect candy from local organizations! It’s a safe and exciting way to celebrate Halloween.
🎭 Costume Contest
Calling all monsters, superheroes, and everything in between! Dress to impress in your creepiest, funniest, or most creative costume. Prizes await the best of the best!
🥞 Pumpkin Pancakes for All!
After the race, stick around and fuel up—our Parks & Recreation staff will be serving their famous pumpkin pancakes to all race participants. (Trust us, they’re worth it.)
🏅 Awards & Extras
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers
- Medals for top finishers in each age group
- Strollers welcome (please start at the back of the pack)
- No animals permitted, please!
