
Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of fishing, friendly competition, and family memories! The Tony Huddleston Trout Rodeo is back and happening Friday, October 4 at the beautiful Izaak Walton Pond — and they’re inviting families across the community to come cast a line and enjoy the outdoors together.
Whether your child is new to fishing or already a little angler-in-the-making, this event is the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon.
🐟 What to Expect:
The pond will be specially stocked with over 300 trout just for this event — so there’s no shortage of opportunities to reel in the big one!
- 🎯 Fishing Tournament:
- 🕑 Time: 2–4 p.m.
- 🎣 Each child may catch up to four fish
- 🏆 Awards, giveaways, and raffles will follow the tournament
- 🍽️ Lunch will be provided for all participants
- 🎁 Goodie bags and T-shirts for the first 100 pre-registered participants
