Discover the Flavors of the New River Valley

These farmers’ markets do more than supply fresh produce—they are community cornerstones that bring together locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re grabbing weekend groceries, supporting local artisans, enjoying educational events, or just soaking in the atmosphere, each market offers a distinct blend of flavor, culture, and connection.

1. Radford Farmers Market

2. Pulaski – The Marketplace

Nestled at 20 South Washington Avenue, Pulaski’s The Marketplace comes alive from May through September, welcoming visitors every Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM. It was recognized as the Best Farmers Market in SWVA by Virginia Living Magazine in 2024. Beyond fresh produce, the market doubles as a cultural hub—offering special events like tomato tastings, vintage markets, live music, and programs that support SNAP recipients with dollar-for-dollar matches as part of the Virginia Fresh Match initiative.
