Christiansburg VA
Christiansburg Parks and Recreations will be hosting a Fourth of July Celebration on July 4th. The Festival is 10 am – 4 pm, a festival is set up on Main Street with live music, kids’ activities, Christiansburg Farmers’ Market vendors, craft vendors, food trucks and more! Fireworks will start around 9:15 pm and can be viewed from the NRV Mall or Walmart parking lot.
Blacksburg VA
Join the Town of Blacksburg and Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club on July 4 for a day of free, family-friendly activities! Starting at 2pm there will be a parade in downtown Blacksburg followed by a free movie “Over the Hedge” at the Lyric Theatre. At 6pm the Blacksburg Community Band will perform, then at 7:15pm The Meter’s Running. Fireworks will start at 9:30pm!
Radford VA
The Radford July 4th Spirit of America Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2019, in beautiful Bisset Park starting at 1:30 pm. They will have food & craft vendors, free children’s Games and Inflatables, as well as a great lineup of music. The fireworks get started at 9:30 pm! Shuttle Busses will run 1:30pm-10:30pm.
Shawsville VA
The Shawsville Ruritans will be hosting and Independence Day Celebration. There will be a 5k Race and Fun Run from 8am – 10am. Come out at 5:00 pm for the Parade down Oldtown Road. After the parade enjoy field events, music, and food vendors from 6 until dark. The Fireworks show will start at nightfall!
Mountain Lake Lodge
Come out and enjoy one of the best fireworks shows in Virginia at Mountain Lake Lodge on July 3rd, 2019! The Lodge will be hosting a BBQ starting at 5:30 pm-9 pm, the BBQ is cash only. The fireworks will start at dark, bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy the fireworks.
